簡介

面對大理石這項古老的材質，當代的設計師與製造者對其有何嶄新的想像？鑿自山脈的原石，將以何種型態進入常民生活？半個世紀以來的大理石開採，我們試圖挖掘出屬於自身的石材文化與美學。 《研石造物》計畫中，blancor工作室邀集義大利設計師Moreno Ratti與台灣設計師進入大理石製造場域，與財團法人石材暨資源產業發展中心及花蓮在地石材廠合作，共同開鑿大理石設計的可能性。

blancor studio invites designers to come to Hualien to work with Stone & Resource Industry R&D Center and Italian designer Moreno Ratti. In the collaboration between designing and manufacturing, we will jointly explore the potentialities of marble design.
